An Introduction To Benalmadena
Benalmadena Costa is situated on the southern coast of Spain called the Costa del Sol. Nestled in between the towns of Torremolinos and Fuengirola, Benalmadena Costa is without a doubt one of the the main tourist areas with numerous bars, restaurants, discos, shops and many other outlets all servicing the tourism industry.
Travelling to Benalmadena is relatively easy being just 20 minutes by road from Malaga airport, with excellent bus and rail links.

The marina boasts a large amount of moorings and is still expanding today, the marina is considered to be one of the best in the world.
Arroyo de la Miel is a residential and commercial area, sandwiched in between benalmadena costa and pueblo. There is a busy shopping zone where you will be able to purchase almost anything. Arroyo de la Miel is a popular town where a lot of british expats live.

For evening diners there is a wide choice of restaurants, wine bars and pubs to choose from that will almost certainly satisfy the most discerning tastes.
Also situated in Arroyo is the famous Tivoli World theme park and the teleferico (cable car) which will take you to the top of the Calamorro mountain at an altitude of 800m which towers high in the background watching over the Benalmadena region. From here you are offered stunning views of the Costa del Sol and much further beyond.
Benalmadena Pueblo is a typically beautiful Andalucian village. Situated above arroyo de la miel and benlamadena costa in the foothills of the mountains you will find narrow, winding streets lined with enchanting white houses which still display the charm of traditional Andalusia.

There are many small, intimate bars in which to enjoy the local food and wine, from authentic spanish tapas bars to ex pat bars dotted here and there.
